Samurai S510HXII Selvedge Denim Regular Straight - 15.8oz Samurai Cotton GL3

Samurai's S510 is a straight fit that's not too baggy, with a medium-high rise and room in the top block and throughout the leg. The fabric is woven on the famed Toyoda GL3 loom, the first power loom used to make denim in Japan over half a century ago. Only able to produce 5 meters of fabric an hour and kept running with parts from decommissioned machines, the GL3 offers us a glimpse of the characterful denim that was being produced in the mid 20th century. To make the fabric even more special, the weft threads are comprised of Samurai Cotton Project yarns, and the jeans are finished with custom branded iron buttons and thick, two-pronged hidden brass rivets.
